Flowers with sustainable credentials
Join us for a demo or workshop
Whether you would like a floral demonstration for a large group or a private workshop in your own home, we'd love to help make it happen
Kinder on the environment
Some imported flowers carry a high carbon footprint and often a load of added chemicals, which are harmful to pollinators and cause pollution to water courses. Floral foam, used in flower arranging since the 1950s, is a single use plastic which causes rivers and oceans to become polluted with micro plastics. Many florists and flower arrangers have followed their concience and stopped using it, but what are the alternatives?
If you're interested in finding ways of ethically sourcing flowers along with some sustainable floristry techniques, perhaps you'd like to book a talk, demonstration or workshop?
Beth is proud to be an ambassador for Sustainable Church Flowers (SCF) a network of individuals advocating for sustainable floral decorations in churches, cathedrals and churchyards.
We offer:
-
Talks and demonstrations to community groups including church flower teams, gardening clubs, Women's Institutes and U3A
-
Private floral workshops in your own home
-
One to one or small group flower sessions
-
Christmas workshops
